Clean Energy Works in Idaho

In a recent blog post for the American Sustainable Business Council, ICEA President Leif Elgethun Leif covered how the EPA’s Clean Power Plan requirements will impact Idaho. The Governor’s Office of Energy Resources has determined that Idaho will most likely have to comply with the Clean Power Plan. Idaho is already on track for compliance with the EPA’s requirements, thanks to its high mix of renewables, and retirement of out-of-state coal generation plants will help improve that mix.
